I specialise in wax seal jewellery using an amazing cabinet of seals I inherited from my grandfather, a master engraver. I recreate them in precious metals and they feature countryside animals, mythical creatures, memento mori and mottos. I combine them with hammered silver jewellery, bangles, rings and sand cast signet rings.

Coming from a very artistic background, my grandfather was an engraver, my father is a graphic designer, potter and artist and my son is a photographer, I have continued this tradition. I studied art at A-level and History of Art, Design and Film at university followed by a master’s degree in Victorian Studies.

My Story

I have always loved and collected jewellery for as long as I can remember. I started making jewellery when I was a child for my Mum and later for friends and family. I made jewellery with glass beads and semi-precious stones and ran a stall at school craft fairs and exhibited at Mill Road Winter Fair in Cambridge.

Training in silversmithing started at White House Arts more than twenty years ago. I rediscovered my love of silversmithing in recent years.

I have exhibited at the SHINE and PRESENT shows at St Peter’s Church in Cambridge as part of The Makers Collective and have been selling my jewellery on Etsy.
